Buckwheat
Buckwheat isn’t related to wheat it comes from the seed of a flowering fruit and belongs to the rhubarb and sorrel family. Naturally gluten-free, it’s nutrient-dense, wheat-free, and grain-free, perfect for those with dietary restrictions. Buckwheat flour has a greyish-green hue and a fine texture, ideal for baking. I have been baking with buckwheat flour for over 15 years, and I love baking cakes, cookies, pancakes, crepes and bread using buckwheat flour. Bread is by far the hardest to master.
