Raspberry & Banana Smoothie - oat milk
My delicious oat milk raspberry and banana smoothie is great for a quick breakfast, mid-morning snack or afternoon pick-me-up.
Raspberries are one of my favourite fruits, with a rich red colour they are naturally sweet juicy to taste. They are an excellent good source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Bananas are rich in potassium and fibre. Just one tablespoon daily of flaxseed powder provides a good amount of protein, fibre and omega-3 fatty acids, in addition to being a rich source of some vitamins and minerals.
I have been lucky enough to discovered Dr Greger's "How Not to Die" nutrition book and have been following this daily dozen guide for the past few months. I feel so much better when I eat and stay on track to this list. I am not 100% plant base as I still enjoy meat from time to time. It's about balance 80/20 rule in my mind. You may disagree. I hope you enjoy my smoothie and this link. Serves 2.
