Ingredients

  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 2 1/2 cups oat milk (or your favourite plant-based milk)
  • pinch salt
  • teaspoon of cinnamon
  • small chopped apple
  • top with raspberries, sunflower seeds, walnuts, sprinkle of flaxseed powder and maple syrup

Method

  1. Add oats, milk, cinnamon and apple and bring gentle to the boil until bubbling, constantly stir to ensure that the oats don't stick to the bottom.
  2. Once the oats are thick and the apple is slightly soft (5 minutes), serve topped with berries, seeds, your favourite nuts, flaxseed powder and drizzle maple syrup if you want a touch of sweetness.
  3. This can be made overnight and reheated the following day.
