Kitchen Love November
Hello from my kitchen! My apologies for missing my October newsletter, life has been a little hectic juggling two courses and YouTube.
Here in Gothenburg, the autumn leaves are blown away, the days are shorter. The sun rises at 8 am and sets at 4 pm. Yes, short, dark days but to add brightness to the city the Christmas lights are on. Having pretty Christmas lights at night makes sense on this side of the world!
If you missed what I have been doing see some of the assignments I have completed for my uni course. I hosted a Monochromatic dinner party in October and chose to theme my event green. I have been experimenting with a new nutritious gluten-free grain called TEFF from Ethiopia. But I have since discovered it is grown in Australia, the US and other parts of the world. See the recipe links below.
There's a delicious new fresh pear and hazelnut cake recipe I created for my husband's birthday last month. Here in Gothenburg, we are surrounded by friends that are intolerant to gluten. So you may have noticed a few more recipes released for gluten-free including a new sesame seed cookie recipe. And for my spelt readers a delicious moist Swedish-style celebration cake, perfect for Thanksgiving or festive celebrations.

Keep well over this silly season.
Remember to stop, breathe and think of all the goodness in your life.
Love
